EV Works Electrokhana

12th December 2009

Introduction

On 12th December 2009, EV Works hosted Western Australia's first all-electric vehicle driving and demonstration event, held at the RAC Driving Centre near Perth International Airport. The day was a great success and a lot of fun, with many of WA's first and finest electric vehicles in attendance plus hundreds of people being able to experience EV's first hand - and hopefully dispelling any myths about electric vehicle performance! Also in attendance were representatives from the Australian Electric Vehicle Association, Sustainable Energy Now, EV Shop, UWA REV Project, Murdoch CREST, and many more.

We hope the event has helped raise awareness of electric vehicles in Australia, and that it is the start of bigger things to come. See you again at the race track for Electrokhana 2010!
